Tuesday, Sept. 6



A campus police officer responded to Campion Towers for a suspicious telephone call. The occupant of the room stated that her telephone rang at 10 p.m. and she answered the phone but a recorder came on and stated to press 1 for an operator. Then a woman's voice started talking and asked for name and social security number. The student declined giving the information, but asked the woman to identify herself. The woman hung up the phone. The call appeared to be from a telemarketing number.



Wednesday, Sept. 7



Campus police responded to Ahern for an injured person. Upon arrival the injured person stated that she was cutting brownies and the knife slipped and went through her hand. The knife went through the palm of her hand and exited between the knuckles of the first two fingers. She was in need of stitches, and transported to the hospital.



Friday, Sept. 9



A campus police officer was approached by a cab driver outside of Newan Towers. He stated that he had just dropped off three white females at the stairs leading to Gardens A and B. He then drove off and noticed that his microphone was missing. He also noticed that his wallet was missing from in between the two front seats. Both of his Nokia cell phones were also missing. The girl in the front seat of the cab was described as having brown hair and a petite build. The other two girls had a heavy build. BCPD was notified.
