Platform for Keith Masiulus, running for Junior Class President

The Class of 2010 is about to enter into a pivotal part of their college years. We have officially completed half of our college careers and are now taking the necessary steps towards our futures. Many are going abroad to experience the various cultures of other countries, while others, like me, are holding down the fort back at Loyola to continue the excellence this class has shown thus far.
As Junior Class President, I feel it is essential that he/she make the transfer from abroad to campus an easy and comfortable transition. Too many times juniors come back from their amazing experiences abroad to find that class requirements have changed, housing options have grown tight and new policies have been put in place - a daunting and intimidating experience for anyone. That is why as Junior Class President, I will continue to incorporate those students abroad and help them to stay current with Loyola's endeavors.
Loyola has many clubs and organizations on campus and the resources we have at our control our substantial. Many students are involved in many different aspects of these clubs, but there is no central organization that allows for open communication between these diverse groups. I would like to create such a group, where the leaders from the different organizations can come together and discuss the different events being planned. I feel this would create a more unified campus and the benefits would be endless.
My main goal for next year is to improve communication on campus and set up an environment for juniors that will bring comfort and stability, during a pivotal and challenging part of their college careers. I believe I can do all of this while maintaining Loyola's commitment to the surrounding communities and its students.

Michael Giordano is also running for junior class president. No platform available at this time.

What if you are running against someone whoo has been president before? What can I expect my duties to be?
