After trouncing Iona 4-0 in their first MAAC game, the Loyola women's soccer team continued their hot streak by defeating Fairfield 1-0 in a tightly contested matchup against Fairfield on Sunday afternoon. With the win Loyola improves to 2-0 in the MAAC and 4-0 in their last four games.

Another week of soccer, another two wins for the Loyola men's soccer team, (8-0-1) whose victories over Princeton and Quinnipiac move the team's regular season unbeaten streak to 16 straight games at home, 17 in a row overall, and 23 of 24.

Coming off a grueling race in Minneapolis two weeks ago, the Loyola cross country team wasn't expecting to be facing such a highly competitive field this week in Bethlehem, PA. But big-name schools such as Wisconsin, Syracuse and Villanova all showed up for the Brooks/Paul Short Run on Friday, effectively pushing the Greyhounds further down the board than they would have liked.

The Loyola golf team finished in 13th place this past week at the Hartford Hawk Invitational in the Cape Cod area of Massachusetts. After the first round of play on Sunday was postponed due to inclement weather, the Hounds came out on Monday and finished 14th out of 23 teams.
